It’s been so long since I glanced down at my Apple Watch and thought: “Wow I have time… to shoot... for myself.” In actuality I only had an hour and change on the clock before celebrating a birthday at sunset but you know what they say about small victories.

Now being a few years into this photo thing, I’m starting to realize that it’s essential to remain close to your roots as it can nurture your creative expression and even give your mental health a boost. So I let the Jeep guide me around 312 to get some skyline shots while a mellow Lo-Fi playlist provided a soothing soundtrack.
