The annual B96 Pepsi Jingle Bash was an amazing one to be seen, and a great one to be remembered. Shawn Mendes, Alessia Cara, DNCE, One Republic, Britney Spears (with special guest Tinashe), Fifth Harmony, and Chainsmokers delivered the ear candy all of their fans have come to expect. Chance The Rapper's Magnificent Coloring Day Festival

Thumbs all the way up for #MCD! A product of Chicago's south side, Chance The Rapper has done the unthinkable: set a new attendance record for U.S. Cellular Field. Normally the White Sox play on 35th, but it was a slew of artists who performed for about 44,000 screaming fans on Saturday night. Scheduled to play were John Legend, Alicia Keys, Tyler, The Creator, Young Thug (who was a late scratch), Skrillex, and Chance himself, but to everyone's surprise, Kanye West popped up and showed out. What a magnificent night for the ages.

After such success, one has to speculate if this will become an annual festival and/or if it will open the doors for more musical performances on Chicago's often-ignored south side...

Pitchfork Music Fest 2016

A melting pot of music, if you will, the annual 3-day Pitchfork Music Fest took Place in Union Park in Chicago over the weekend and as a first-time photog, I could not have asked for a better experience shooting new, eccentric, and amazing performers from all corners of the globe. From Miguel, Savages, and Chicago's own Jeremih, to FKA Twigs, Twin Peaks, and Empress Of, what a show. At times, I failed to remove myself as a fan and got caught up in the music but can you really blame me? Enjoy the shots!
