It had to happen on a rare Thursday, but the 2017 version of B96's annual Jingle Bash brought out the likes of Backstreet Boys, Khalid, Sabrina Carpenter, 5th Harmony, Logic, Taylor Swift (!), and an arena full of screaming fans. A show for the books, indeed.

Thumbs all the way up for #MCD! A product of Chicago's south side, Chance The Rapper has done the unthinkable: set a new attendance record for U.S. Cellular Field. Normally the White Sox play on 35th, but it was a slew of artists who performed for about 44,000 screaming fans on Saturday night. Scheduled to play were John Legend, Alicia Keys, Tyler, The Creator, Young Thug (who was a late scratch), Skrillex, and Chance himself, but to everyone's surprise, Kanye West popped up and showed out. What a magnificent night for the ages.

June 26th, 2016 marked the day that I shot my very first show. Never have I photographed a band – in a bar, club, or even street festival, let alone a stadium. To capture the essence of the B96 Pepsi Summerbash was a tough task, one that I eagerly greeted with excitement, shaky nerves, and my beloved camera. What an honor to see, speak to, and photograph the likes of Daya, Charlie Puth, Meghan Trainor, Bebe Rexha, Mike Posner, Calvin Harris, and Ariana Grande. I left my apartment to head towards the Allstate Arena and once there, I felt truly at home.
