There has been no shortage of rain around Chicago these past few weeks. No influx of complaints about it either.

Wanna hear something cool? The above photo was taken from Skydeck Chicago. The coolest part? Thanks to this photo, I won free dinner to Reverie and return passes to visit Skydeck again.
#Paulie14
At the end of the 2014 regular season, White Sox captain Paul Konerko called it a career. And what a career it was: 400+ HRs, 6 all-star game appearances, and a World Series title. To commemorate having his jersey retired, former and current players and managers showed up in droves to pay homage. What a send-off.
Manager Robin Ventura is greeted by former slugger Jim Thome. Ozzie loves it.
Shortstop Alexei Ramirez wants in on the reunion.
Success!
TV announcer "Hawk" Harrelson preparing for emcee duties.
Something you wouldn't normally see... Robin Ventura fixing Ozzie Guillén's button while Jim Thome fixes Hawk's mic.
Fist pump to you too, Paulie.
Hat tip to Choose Chicago and the White Sox organization for the first-hand experience.
Amphibians At The Shedd
How cool. I recently checked out the amphibians exhibit at Chicago's Shedd Aquarium (thanks Choose Chicago!) and learned some cool things about these slippery creatures. Should you get a chance, go gawk and learn a thing or two yourself about these frogs, newts, and salamanders.
