An unsuspecting subject.
This year I became infatuated with with capturing a wide variety of bokeh shots. Oddly enough, I didn't like most of them and my personal favorites were all accidents. Of those accidents, one (above) seemed to be a crowd favorite. So to those who love this photo so much, I'd be honored if it lived on your cell phone as a background. How about it? Download.
I now know why kids cant wait to grow up; they're discouraged from playing with their food, while adults are urged to do just that. This weekend, I, along with a handful of instagrammers, had the opportunity to build a waffle stack in hopes that one would get featured on the secret menu at Pizza East in Chicago - all thanks to PopularPays. Think bacon and blueberries are too common? Toppings varied from arugula and avocado to cookies and cheese and made for quite an interesting, endless mix of waffle walls.

Needless to say, a nap was in order for all who participated. Everyone wanted to sample everyone else's stack, but I may have hinted that it was against the rules... no chance in hell that I'd share mine!

Aside from the rain and rapidly falling temps... and gray days... and sunsets before 5pm - OK, I'll stop - I think I'm starting to warm up to Fall.
